Athletics Department Celebrate 16th-Annual Awards Banquet

GENESEO, N.Y. - The SUNY Geneseo Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation hosted its 16th-annual Awards Banquet, Sunday morning, in the MacVittie Student Union Ballroom.

Several student-athletes were recognized for their outstanding achievements, both on the playing field and in the classroom over the last academic year. The department also handed out its nine major awards while all members of the Class of 2016 received a special award in appreciation of their service to the department.

Below are the three finalist for the department's nine major awards with the winner listed in bold.

Nick Hayes Memorial Award
Presented to the senior student who has the most outstanding contribution to the athletic department in a non-playing capacity.
